A Game Of Chance

Well that does it for Japan, and the world in general, really. I'll be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow so maybe I can get to my plane by noon. Then by reversing the rotation of the earth, we'll instantly land half an hour earlier in JFK.

In the meantime you can amuse yourself with tales of Kyoto, and pictures, and a fabulous carnival game.

Guess How Many Pictures I've Taken!

I got a new camera right before leaving in January. Every picture and movie it takes is numbered in order (like IMG_1234.JPG or whatever but you know that, everyone has digital cameras).

I'll take some defining picture when I get back home. Maybe the Empire State Building, or me standing on the lawn. The filename of that picture will indicate almost exactly how many times I've pressed the shutter release.

Enter a guess by using the Comments button below. I'm just looking for a number, you don't have to try to get the filename right. Whoever gets closest will win some trinket I'll pick up in the airport if I remember. And if you're reading this, I expect you to participate. Have at it!

Here's a hint: it's bigger than a breadbox.
